New Generation of Imaging Devices
The first LUMIX mirrorless camera to feature a 24.2MP CMOS sensor with Phase Detection AF, the LUMIX s5II is equipped with a new engine.

Phase Hybrid AF
The most important thing in autofocus is to be dependable. The new Phase Hybrid AF delivers speed and accuracy to help you capture the target subject even in the most challenging scenes where multiple subjects are involved, and even in backlit or low-light environments. Phase Hybrid AF dramatically improves subject tracking and recognition performance.

Active I.S. (Image Stabilisation) Technology
New Active I.S. lets you walk and shoot at the same time. By determining the status of camera shake and optimising correction ratios, Active I.S. can compensate for even significant camera shake, approximately 200%* more than conventional systems.
*Compared with LUMIX S5. Focal length 20mm, when using S-R2060.

A wide variety of video expression options
The camera offers a full range of functions to expand the possibilities of expression for creators, including unlimited 4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K 60p/50p recording, high resolution 6K (5952x3968, 3:2) (5952x3136, 17:9) and more.

Tough body for a wide range of weather conditions
The camera can be used in a wide range of weather conditions. The durable magnesium alloy full die-cast frame and sealing of all joints, dials, and buttons make it dust- and splash-resistant*.
*Dust- and splash-resistant does not guarantee that damage will not occur if this camera is subjected to direct contact with dust and water.
