Adaptive Noise Cancelling automatically adjusts to surroundings so that kids can focus quietly—or hear their sounds in noisy places without asking to turn up the volume! Earcup controls activate Awareness Mode so they can hear what's happening around them, and Quick Awareness enhances voices so they can hear you while wearing the headphones.

Wireless audio sharing doubles the fun
If your kid's friends also have a pair of Philips K5500 headphones, they can create a wireless daisy chain between the headphones and listen to the same audio. One pair of headphones is connected to the smart device they want to listen from, and then both friends need to press the multi-function button to enter audio-sharing mode.

Foldable design with kid-friendly comfort and controls
Big round control buttons on the earcups make these headphones simple to use, while soft earcup cushions make them comfortable to wear. The cushioned headband adjusts for the perfect fit and dots on the back show which way around to put the headphones on. They can be folded flat, or flat and inwards, for easy storage when not in use.

Clear calls with friends and family
A built-in microphone lets kids take calls with family and friends. A dedicated mic picks up the sound of their voice, while a noise-reduction algorithm quietens some of the background noise from the world around them.

Long battery life and easy connections
You get up to 60 hours of play time (34 with noise cancelling on) from a full charge, and a quick 15 minute charge allows for 10 hours—plus there's a 3.5 mm audio jack for wired listening. A dedicated BT button makes it easy for kids to pair with their devices, and multipoint connectivity lets them connect to more than one device at once.
