DELL SAS 6/iR RAID controller PCI Express x8

The SAS6/iR Integrated SAS Controller from Dell™ provides integrated RAID capabilities. The card supports both SAS and Serial ATA drives. Featuring two internal connectors with 4 ports each, the card features an impressive 8 ports for connecting drives to. The SAS6/iR features PCIe® connectivity and requires a x8 slot for connectivity. The card also offers up to 3 GBps of maximum burst speed per port and supports S.M.A.R.T. physical drives up to 10 physical drives. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
